Fleece of the gods
Alpaca wool has many great properties: it is durable, elastic and resistant, yet particularly fine and soft. It is also dirt and odor repellent. Its fibers are hollow on the inside and therefore have unique thermal properties. Clothing made from alpaca wool is therefore comfortable to wear all year round.
Animal welfare
Alpacas live in large herds high up in the Andes of South America, where other forms of agriculture are virtually impossible. They are very intelligent and sensitive. The animals are sheared once a year. The shearing is necessary because the alpaca is the only camel species that does not shed its fur on its own; there is no seasonal change of coat. In addition to species-appropriate husbandry, it is also important to pay attention to the social character of the animals
Fair trade
Consumers often associate fair trade in particular with fairer payment for producers from the countries of the South. However, fair trade stands for much more than this one important principle. The WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) has therefore developed ten criteria, all of which are reflected in the self-image of fair trade

Attention to detail: from start to finish
We have set ourselves the goal of offering textile products of exceptional quality. Our focus is on social and ecological sustainability.
This begins with a climate- and nature-friendly way of life for the alpacas in small herds in the Peruvian highlands and continues with the handcrafted manufacture of the products in small workshops in Peru and Bolivia.
We use environmentally friendly packaging made from recycled and/or recyclable materials to package our high-quality products made from fine alpaca fiber.
As a company, we have decided to follow a sustainable development path. We do this out of conviction, because there are many reasons that make environmentally friendly and sustainable action indispensable.

Sustainability
What is sustainability and why is it so important?
Nowadays, no company can avoid the topic of sustainability, and that is a good thing. Sustainability should be firmly anchored in every corporate strategy.
Essentially, sustainability (or sustainable action) is about satisfying today's needs in such a way that there are still sufficient resources available for future generations to satisfy their needs in the same way. We must therefore use existing resources sparingly and reduce consumption where necessary.
Climate change, scarce water and energy resources, environmental pollution and soil sealing are just a few examples of how we should recognize the need to rethink sustainability and environmental protection.
